But this white board just cries out for a review. I *love* this board and want everyone to know how good it is.First, it's a porcelain board. White boards can be made of several different materials: melamine, painted steel, glass, and a variety of others (some board descriptions don't even tell you what they're made of!). My recommendation is that if you want to use the white board on a regular basis, don't mess with anything less than a porcelain board. Most of the other types just don't erase very well (I don't know about glass). In particular, if you buy a melamine board, you will spend a lot of time trying to clean the board, and you will still get ghosting and smearing that is very hard to remove. Also, many of the melamine boards are made with a fiberboard backing that can warp right off the wall (just read some of the reviews)... You still need two people since the board is a little large for one person to maneuver into position easily. Took about 5 minutes. 2) Very well constructed - steel backing plate. Looks and feels solid and professional. 3) Porcelain board erases like a dream - much better than those melamine boards. -- update 1/27/12 : Still quite happy with this purchase. If you've ever hung anything on a wall, installation will be easy. I did it myself in 20-30 minutes, most of which was measuring and re-measuring. Might have been a touch easier if I'd asked someone to help, mainly so I could see how the location would look before I actually hung it. Still, it was an uncomplicated installation. The aluminum sides give it a proper finish that is modern-yet-not-too-modern-to-stand-out-as-such. The rest of the furniture in my office is wood, and the board looks great.
