I was happy when I found this product because it would allow me to get around these limitations. After I installed it, I thought for sure this would be a perfect solution. But there is a horrible flaw: the tray itself is made of plastic with almost no support underneath, and is so unstable at the corners and sides that the tray wobbles all over the place.There are two places that you can tighten and adjust tension (both of which are completely tightened on mine), but neither solves the problem that there is simply not enough support on the edges of the cheap, thin plastic tray. The only support underneath is a small metal sheet in the middle-back where it attaches to the arm, which is not nearly enough bracing to support the rest of the tray because the tray is such thin plastic. Because this tray allows me to adjust it to whatever height I need, I'm able to lower my chair so both feet are on the ground--a much more comfortable, ergnomically-correct position. It is very easy to put together. However, one problem is it's not extremely stable right out of the box. Before I got it adjusted just right I would hit it sometimes with a knee or an elbow and things would go flying. Now that I read the instructions on how to adjust it correctly, everything stays in place.
