I spent over $500 on the Pyramid 4000 clock to only have it not work in under 2 years! The Technical support is TERRIBLE. I spoke to the supervisor at Pyramide who was not willing to help rectify the problems with the clock. They have no repair department either...so after 1 year, you're on your own (and thats if they deem the problem is a manufacturer problem within the 1 yr!). I will NEVER buy from this company again. Terribly disappointing, and the customer support simply just doesn't care. It just recently stopped working, and pyramid technologies can replace it for us "at cost" of $375.00 What a joke!! They say it normally sells for $560.00 Anyone can find it for under $400.00 at an office supply store and cheaper online. The warranty is only good for 1 year - after that, you're screwed. No one, absolutely no one repairs them - including the manufacturer. Why in the world would I go out and buy another one of there time clocks if it's just going to break in another 2 years. Customer service is a joke - they basically can only say - we can replace it at cost for $375.00 They have no other solutions for you. Don't buy from them. Therefore, I bought the exact same one when its grandpa died and it is still going strong 6 years later. I am surprised people rate this so poorly. It sets up the biweekly payroll perfectly. The only complaint I have is sometimes that numbers print on top of each other if the employees don't clock in and out carefully. It still adds it up correctly though. I don't know how it will work for a larger company but we have 20 workers in and out four times a day and it keeps going.
